ATA Invest, established in 1990, is one of the most experienced brokerage firms in the sector and became a member of Borsa Istanbul (formerly IMKB) in 1991.
In 1995, Ata Invest developed the stock market software ATP, leading to the creation of a new company. In 1997, Tradesoft A.Ş. joined the Ata Group.
The GTP software developed under Ata Invest facilitates high-standard, fast, and efficient transactions for brokerage firms and portfolio management companies in the capital markets. It is used by 16 brokerage firms, 11 portfolio management companies, 3 banks, 2 investment partnerships, and 2 pension companies in Turkey.
In 1997, Ata Invest pioneered the sector by launching the first virtual branch while the internet was still gaining popularity in Turkey. Some of the firsts introduced by Ata Invest include the sector's first call center and IVR application, the first CRM usage, and the first MT program.
Ata Invest was among the first brokerage firms to receive the ISO 9000 Quality Assurance Certificate and, in 2000, became the first brokerage firm to receive the TÜSİAD–KALDER National Quality Award.
In 2000, Ata Invest acquired Meridyen Securities and changed its name to Ata Online.
In 2016, Ata Online, leading the digital service model, merged with Ata Invest, the leader in capital markets and asset management with result-oriented and high-yield investment ideas. Today, Ata Online brings together market monitoring and buying/selling transactions on desktop and mobile applications with the latest financial technology for investors.
With the experience and knowledge gained in portfolio and fund management, Ata Portföy A.Ş. was established in 2000 and has successfully continued its asset management activities since its inception.
